Clever little genre combo mixes tower defense and item matching. I’d like to consider Gunhouse part of the wonderful Henry Hatsworth universe, if only it were true. Instead, Necrosoft’s original work boasts a pleasant color palette and wild, busy aesthetic, powering this charming outing. Blocks match up, weapons build power, and pop go enemies in a satisfying display of overdone weaponry. Oddly chill in spite of the anxiety-inducing turn timers.
